Warwick’s first entry into the field of lightweight bass amps is the LWA 1000. Its a full 2 channel amp that lets you have 2 basses plugged in and ready to go with their own unique settings already ‘dialled-in’. Each input channel has its own Gain/input control, EQ section, variable compressor and mute function. Switching between channels is via the included footswitch and cable.
The preamp is based on Warwicks signature Class A/Low Z circuitry made famous with the WA and BC series amps. This technology ensures that you have warm, huge distortion free sound. Couple that to the monstrous ‘state of the art’ Class D poweramp, with its ‘error correction’ circuitry, and you have super-tight, strong bass response comparable to that delivered by much heavier, much larger Class A/B amps.
