Valenti VMJ5
£975.00
Nino Valenti had two spells working with Roger Sadowsky before setting up his own bass building business. He describes his creations as ‘Classic style basses with modern refinements’.
This bass is serial number #104 and can be found in the archive section of Valentis’ website. It is, in all respects, an evolved Jazz bass with its own distinctive headstock shape. Picking it up and playing it you are certainly aware of the Sadowsky DNA and influence present here. The rear of the body has been chamfered and shaped at the heel and lower bout to improve high-end neck access and the Nordstrand 18v preamp is noiseless.
All in all, a very refined instrument thats a delight to play. We expect it to appeal to folk looking for something a little bit more exclusive than the mainstream gear out there
