Whats on offer here for the money is pretty impressive - classic looking Jazz bass with body-matched headstock and 3 ply tortoiseshell pickguard. Build quality, fit and finish are exemplary and the ‘Jazz accurate’ neck is just a joy to play.
Inexpensive instruments often fall down when plugged in but not in this case. The pickups deliver good output and a full, round bottom end, punchy mids and clear highs which never get harsh. This would be an ideal second bass or would suit a novice or improving player wanting to get into ‘Jazz territory’.
