Sandberg Classic TM4+

The ‘Classic’ used to be called the ‘Bullet’ until Fender saw it’s arse and got stroppy. Sandberg simply shrugged their shoulders and renamed it the ‘Classic’. A plus designation (+) indicates a specification upgrade(s) from the standard spec - in this case the addition of the block inlays to the fingerboard.
This is a lovely ‘fit for purpose’ modern active bass (with passive override option) with fast, 3 octave neck. The combination of a single coil pickup and a splittable humbucker is our fave. Play in all-single coil mode or thicken up the sound of the bridge pickup by combining both the humbuckers coils - very versatile.
Sandberg have established themselves as one of the very best builders of ‘real world’ basses and, for handbuilt instruments, they continue to represent brilliant value for money. It’s not surprising that their order book is brimming and that their build period is now 6-7 months.
