Introduced in 1992, the ‘Laredo’ was developed in parallel with the 4004C Cheyenne ii and shares many similarities. This ultra-sleek RIC incorporates a new low loss circuit coupled with RICs new generation high output humbucking pickups which deliver a distinctly loud and clear sound but which remains distinctly ‘Rickenbacker’ as you’d hope!
The ‘Laredo’ features an extra-contoured body for maximum lightness and comfort and the neck has, in recent years, reverted to the same dimensions and profile as that on the 4003 model (width at nut is 42.9mm). No frills or fuss here… just great looks and great RIC tone… and very exclusive!
