Rickenbacker 4003
£2,285.00
Following a chronic under -supply of RICs to these shores in recent years we’re delighted to offer this beautiful 4003 in ever desirable ‘Jetglo’ Black. (seems most folk want a Jetglo’…we blame Geddy Lee!). Prices have gone up significantly recently but we have the best prices on new RICs in the UK.
The rest you know…bags of mid-punch, solid bottom end and rasping top end if needed. The Vintage Tone Control allows you to switch capacitors to give the rear pickup a vintage 4001 treble ‘honk’ or, push it in and it injects more bass into the bridge pickup giving you greater tonal flexibility and an even fatter bottom end.
We think that the RIC is the most iconic bass on planet earth, immortalised by such notables as Lemmy, Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, Paul McCartney and on the list goes… (I very humbly left myself out!!!). There is even one in the Museum of Modern Art in New York as an exemplar of the best of 20th Century design!
