With Hartkes HyDrive series of bass cabs you get the best of both worlds: the warm tone of traditional paper cones and the clear, punchy attack of aluminium. Hydrives patented Hybrid Cone Technology produces a speaker of exceptional depth and clarity of detail that is suitable for any genre of music but (we think) especially good for rock music where players are looking for and need, strong mid-frequency projection. Remember - its the mids that get us bass players heard!
The cabs have a 4ohm/8ohm impedance selector which means that they can be used with a multitude of different amp outputs from 200w to 600w. Construction is 19mm birch plywood and the cab is front ported for maximum forward sound dispersion. A rugged vinyl covering, protective corners and heavy duty inset handle means that these cabs are built for the road..
