Gordon-Smith Baby Gryphon
£695.00
We asked Gordon-Smith to build us a simplified version of the Gryphon - something that’s just great fun to play and as simple to operate as a P-Bass but still capable of delivering the big passive tones that the Gryphon is renowned for. Accordingly, it is not as expensive as the ‘grown up’ version and we think that the asking price is ridiculous for a handbuilt British bass - which includes the pickup!
On offer are the same body and headstock shapes as the full-blown version but with a flat (as opposed to splayed) body, satin finish (as opposed to gloss), single pickup and the minimum controls.
No fuss, no frills - just the time honoured attributes of any G-S instrument - Great playability, great tone!
(Available to order in other colours and with rosewood fingerboard).
