Another beautiful handbuilt creation from Paul who builds every bass as if for himself. The price tag?… unbelievable for an instrument displaying this level of finesse and design expertise. Each Everson bass is a little individual whether it be the combination of tonewoods, pickup type/configuration or hardware.
It’s a misconception that because these are lightweight slim bodied basses there is a loss of tone and resonance. Make no mistake - these are tone machines and have supremely playable, fast necks with ultra-low buzz-free actions. We just went for the simplicity of a passive bass here and it delivers big articulate tones with solid bottom end, punchy mids and clear, piano-like highs. The coil splitter switch adds versatility in that the bridge pickup tone can be thickened out by selecting humbucker mode.
If you’re in the market for a handbuilt British bass that costs less than a lot of mass produced instruments then this might be for you….if you dare to be different of course!
