Cort’s premium electro-acoustic for, frankly, not a lot of money given whats on offer here, including some really nicely figured, quality woods. This a deep, Jumbo-bodied bass with a high level of decoration including a fully bound body with binding to fingerboard and around headstock. The sound hole is framed with a multiple Abalone Rosette. Controls on the Fishman preamp are: Rotary controls for Notch and Volume, 4 EQ sliders for Bass, contour, treble & brilliance. Phase button plus contour frquency slider. Onboard chromatic tuner.
Electro-acoustic basses can be physically difficult to play but that isn’t the case here. The neck profile is very comfortable and the bass is set up with a low action. It is a particular resonant bass and a joy to play either acoustically or amplified. Fitted with D’Addario phospher-bronze roundwound strings.
