A classy looking passive 5 string that delivers exceptionally warm, deep tones with piano-like clarity. The pickups were designed by Jeff Berlin in conjunction with Bartolini, his pickup builder of choice. Since the demise of BassAss and their bridges, JB has become a convert of the Babicz ‘full contact’ bridges which offer an increased dynamic range, increased sustain and greater pitch stability.
The Rithimic V sports a beautiful Burl walnut top which greatly assists with clarity and brightness. If you’re in the market for a passive, articulate ‘players’ 5 string then this bass may well hit the spot and it’s offered at a mouth-watering price given the all-round quality on offer.
