Handbuilt German bass that provides the serious bass player with an instrument that offers exceptional playability, serious tones and fastidious attention to detail. A past favourite of ‘Guitarist’ magazine who said ‘Great build quality and a wide range of full active and passive tones - A classic bolt-on for the 21st Century’.
In profile, the neck feels quite ‘Stingray’ to us, having a width across the nut of 42.5mm and 56mm at the 12th fret. Its satin finish is quite superb and the sure sign of a handbuilt, hand finished bass. Has really clear, articulate tonal definition across the entire spectrum and very versatile.
A lovely and relatively rare instrument that will cover pretty well all musical genres and playing styles… and only a shade over 8lbs of it!
