Designed by legendary recording engineer (Trident Studios) and professional studio equipment designer, Prof Malcolm Toft), the BPA-1 is essentially a studio quality preamp, tone control and compressor but in a compact foot pedal format.
The frequencies chosen in the 3 band EQ section have been specifically designed for the Bass Guitar and offers the same range of controls as those found in the best studio consoles. 2 inputs are provided for 2 different basses or a bass guitar and a standup bass. The level of each instrument can be can be matched using independent trim controls so that there’s no need to EQ manually using your instruments controls.
