The best ‘old school’ sounding cab ever? The unique 10″ drivers are high output, ‘retro’ sounding ferrite speakers that deliver softer, smoother tone than the Barefaced 12″ drivers in the Generation3 range of cabs. They have an unusually high volume displacement for a 10″ driver so it can produce big lows without ‘farting out’ (Alex’s words!) and extended treble response without ever sounding harsh.
Both speakers work in unison to produce big bass and punchy mids but for improved dispersion only one has a treble output - just like a PA line array. Use the cab horizontally for maximum ‘thump’ or vertically for increased clarity. The innovative hybrid enclosure sounds and feels like a sealed cab but with the loudness and thunder of a ported cab.
