ACG Recurve Fretless Custom

Bass building at its best and most progressive - the Recurve is an established ACG body shape but the spec here is unique to us. The John East-built SEQ dual filter preamp is quite different from conventional preamps (think WAL basses and artists such as Mick Karn & Percy Jones) & allows separate EQ over each pickup which is unique at this price point.
It’s possible to set up quite different sounds for each pickup and move between/blend them using the blend control. These basses also have zero radius (totally flat) fingerboards (great for chording/tapping/speed playing) & the neck, in sectional profile, is asymmetrical giving improved feel and ergonomic fit.
Build and finish quality, playability and tone are all top-notch here. These are truly a ‘players’ instrument at an almost unbelievable price considering that they are totally handbuilt in very small numbers.
